Leadership Coaching Bootcamp: Four-Session Series

Overview

Leadership coaching is a powerful way to develop employees through tailored growth plans, clear expectations, regular feedback, and one-on-one conversations. This four-session bootcamp will give managers and supervisors practical tools to apply a coaching mindset, strengthen their leadership capacity, and improve team performance.

Session Topics

Session 1:

  • Introduction to leadership theory
  • Characteristics of effective leaders
  • What coaching is- and isn’t

Session 2:

  • Introduction to behavioral change
  • How leaders can support positive change

Session 3:

  • Applying leadership and behavioral change to coaching
  • Framework for leadership coaching

Session 4:

  • Application of leadership coaching in practice
  • Providing effective feedback
  • Tools for leadership coaching

About the Instructor

Dr. Timothy A. (Tad) Dickel serves as the Executive in Residence in Leadership and interim faculty director of the Master of Science in Leadership program at the University of Evansville. He is also President of the T.A. Dickel Group, LLC, and works as a leadership and strategy consultant for businesses, universities, and nonprofits.
