Ambassador Volunteer Event - Tri-State Food Bank

Join your fellow Ambassadors in giving back to our community at Tri-State Food Bank on Wednesday, May 27 from 2:00–4:00 PM. You’re welcome to volunteer for a one-hour shift or stay for the full two hours—any time you can give makes a meaningful impact.

Note: The registration page may show a 1:00–4:15 PM for what they call the “PM shift.” Please disregard that—our group will volunteer from 2:00–4:00 PM.

Volunteers assist in the Volunteer Center Warehouse with hands-on tasks such as packing boxes or bags for Senior Meal Programs and Weekend Backpacks, labeling unmarked cans, and sorting donated food items. While a few seated roles are available, most activities involve standing.

What to Wear:

• Closed-toe, closed-heel shoes (no sandals, flip-flops, clogs, or mules)
• Casual pants or mid-thigh length shorts
• Shirts with at least short sleeves (no sleeveless tops or midriff exposure)

Important Reminders:

• Cell phones, outside food, and beverages (except bottled water with a lid provided onsite) are not allowed in the warehouse
• Bags, backpacks, and unworn jackets must be stored (limited lockers available)
• All volunteers must check in and out using the QR code system or kiosk in the lobby
