Join the Young Professionals Alliance (YPA) for a Lunch & Learn panel discussion focused on nonprofit engagement and discovering the right organization that aligns with your passions, skills, and goals.
Whether you're interested in volunteering, joining a committee, or serving on a board, our panelists will share their personal journeys and practical insights on how to build authentic relationships with nonprofits and create lasting change.

Taylor Humphrey
Community Engagement Manager, Heritage Federal Credit Union
Taylor leads Heritage's community involvement efforts, emphasizing deep, purpose-driven partnerships with local nonprofits. She serves on the board of Dream Center Evansville, mentors youth, and is involved with E-REP, HYPE (Habitat Young Professionals of Evansville), and Homeless Connect. In her free time, Taylor volunteers with the Salvation Army and Evansville Rescue Mission.
Damien Burge, MBA
CEO, Velocity Fitness
Damien is a dedicated community advocate with a global perspective on nonprofit work. A former Peace Corps volunteer, he has developed youth programs in Albania and China and supported local nonprofits like Cancer Pathways Midwest. He founded Martial Hearts, which funds martial arts training for underserved youth, and is a U.S. Martial Arts Hall of Fame inductee.
Ryan Scott
Executive Director, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Southwestern Indiana
Ryan is a mission-driven leader passionate about mentorship and youth empowerment. With degrees from Murray State University and the University of the Cumberlands, he brings a strong background in leadership and community engagement. Ryan believes that positive, supportive relationships are key to a successful life and is committed to expanding access to one-on-one mentoring across the region. Under his leadership, BBBS focuses on building partnerships that drive long-term, meaningful impact for local youth.
