The Evansville Philharmonic Youth Orchestra performs their Spring Concert at the Victory Theatre on Friday, May 17 at 7 p.m.

Under the direction of Conductor Lee Veazey, the Evansville Philharmonic Youth Orchestra II (EPYO II) will begin the concert with Overture to Samson by George Handel, Russian Sailor Dance  by Reinhold Glière, Pink Panther by Henry Mancini, and Scènes Pittoresques by Jules Massenet.

Evansville Philharmonic Youth Orchestra (EPYO) Conductor Chun-Ming Chen will lead the second half of the concert featuring Peer Gynt Suite No. 1by Edvard Grieg and Die Fledermaus by Johann Strauss II. The evening finishes with a side-by-side performance of L’Arlesienne Suite No. 2 by Georges Bizet. 

General admission is $15.00. Tickets may be purchased by calling the Evansville Philharmonic Box Office at (812) 425-5050, Ext 300 or ordering online at www.evansvillephilharmonic.org Tickets are free for students and children and can be obtained for this concert beginning May 3.  Tickets are also available at the door one hour prior to the concert.
