The annual Going, Going, Gone to the Dogs Benefit Dinner & Auction is the Vanderburgh Humane Society's largest fundraiser. It will be held Saturday, May 9th, 2026 at 5:00 pm at Old National Events Plaza. This splendid evening features a preview cocktail party, a plated dinner, and both silent and live auctions with hundreds of items ranging from $25 up to $3,000+. More than 350 people attend to raise revenue for the 12,000+ pets and people that the VHS serves every year! The 2026 theme is "May the Fur Be With You" (Star Wars.) Tickets go on sale in February.
