The Vanderburgh Humane Society has promoted Vanessa Brown to the brand-new position of Pathway Coordinator. In this role, Vanessa will proactively monitor animals’ journeys through the shelter. She will oversee daily rounds and interdepartmental collaboration in the hopes of reducing Length of Stay and achieving positive adoption or transport outcomes for more pets, faster. She was previously Foster Care Coordinator and will continue to oversee the foster care program as part of her new role. Vanessa has served the VHS since 2011.
