Kahn, Dees, Donnovan & Kahn, LLP is pleased to welcome to the firm associate attorneys Elizabeth “Betsy” M. Happe and Dylan J. Murphy.

Betsy Happe joined the firm after graduating from the Indiana University Maurer School of Law in Bloomington, Indiana. She brings strong analytical skills and perseverance to her work in serving clients. Betsy will focus her practice in the areas of business, construction, and estate planning law. In addition to her law degree, Betsy earned a Master of Business Administration degree and a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting and finance from the University of Southern Indiana in Evansville. No stranger to KDDK, Betsy clerked with the firm for two summers during law school and completed a one-year internship prior to that. Betsy is a Southern Indiana native.

Dylan Murphy brings diligence, curiosity, and a collaborative spirit to serving his clients' legal needs. He will focus his practice in the areas of business, creditors' rights and bankruptcy, insurance, and litigation. A graduate of the University of Louisville Brandeis School of Law, he served as a peer advisor, an Assistant to the Office of Professional Development, and a member of the Business Law Society. Dylan also brings two years of hands-on experience from his role as a legal/risk intern for a company in Jeffersonville, Indiana. As an undergraduate at the University of Southern Indiana in Evansville, he earned the USI Top Student Leader Award and served in student government as a USI Associate Justice.
