USI’s M. Edward Jones Engagement Award
USI’s M. Edward Jones Engagement Award
The University of Southern Indiana is accepting nominations for the 2025 M. Edward Jones Engagement Award. The award is named for Dr. M. Edward Jones, Vice Provost Emeritus for Outreach and Engagement. Dr. Jones joined the University (then Indiana State University Evansville) in 1974 and served as the founding Director of Continuing Education. He retired in 2010 and remains a passionate advocate for both USI and Outreach and Engagement. Thanks to the generous investment of Dr. Jones and his wife Mrs. Cindy Brinker, Senior Vice President Emerita for Government and University Relations, the recipient will receive a $1,000 award.
The M. Edward Jones Engagement Award recognizes USI employees (current and retired), students, alumni, board members and trustees who inspire others to engage, have made a positive impact in the USI community and the region, and demonstrate tireless service and dedication to lifelong learning in fulfilling the outreach mission of the University of Southern Indiana. Award guidelines, eligibility, and a link to the nomination form can be found on the USI website at: https://www.usi.edu/outreach/m-edward-jones-engagement-award. The deadline to nominate is December 16, 2024.
